Emerald Coast Auburn Club Receives another ACE!

The Emerald Coast Auburn Club was recognized for the second year in a row at the 2010 Club Leadership Conference with an Auburn Club Excellence (ACE) Award. The ACE Award is divided into three ACE Levels: ALL AUBURN-ALL ORANGE, TRUE AND BLUE TIGER, and WAR EAGLE!. The ACE Award received by ECAC was at the ALL AUBURN-ALL ORANGE level.

Auburn Clubs who are recognized with Auburn Club Excellence Awards are evaluated in the following areas: Ten Commandments of Auburn Clubs, Scholarship Awards, Communication, Events/Meetings, Service to Students, Community Service/Involvement, Leadership, Organization, and Membership.

All members of the Emerald Coast Auburn Club should be proud of this great recognition. It would not have been possible without every members contribution.

2009 Emerald Coast Classic Sponsors and Winners

We concluded another very successful Emerald Coast Classic Scholarship Golf Tournament on Thursday, October 22, at the Fort Walton Beach Golf Course. This was our 4th annual tournament and will prove to be the most successful tournament to date. Last year we made enough profit to award scholarships to two local, well-deserving students to attend Auburn University. I am positive this year’s results will enable the Emerald Coast Auburn Club to support two more local students. The final financial data is still being compiled but we will provide you the results when all items have been completed and the final results tabulated.

This success can only be achieved with your support – and what outstanding support we received. We had 88 players that competed in this tournament, 21 Silent Auction items that were donated to raise funds, and well over 130 prizes that were donated which were provided to participating players.
